Khel Khel Mein box office collection day 2: Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham’s Vedaa released on August 15 – the same day as filmmaker Amar Kaushik’s Stree 2, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor. According to a Sacnilk.com report, Khel Khel Mein managed to collect less than ₹2 crore nett in India on Friday after it opened at ₹5.05 crore nett on Thursday.

The Akshay Kumar movie – co-starring Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Fardeen Khan, Pragya Jaiswal, and Aditya Seal – has earned an estimated ₹1.9 crore nett at the domestic box office on day 2. In India, the film has earned ₹6.95 crores nett till now. It is a comedy-drama directed by Mudassar Aziz of Happy Bhag Jayegi and Pati Patni Aur Woh.

An excerpt from the Hindustan Times movie review of Khel Khel Mein read, “It’s hard to nitpick a flaw here because the film delivers what it promises- a chill time- and more. You exit the theatres with a smile, and sometimes, that’s all one looks for in a film. If only they didn’t rehash Diljit Dosanjh’s Do You Know which plays as the credits roll. Sigh.”

Vedaa box office collection

After the opening of ₹6.3 crore nett in India on Thursday, the numbers dropped from that level on day two, with an estimated ₹1.6 crore nett, as per a repor from Sacnilk.com. Vedaa stands with a total India collection of an estimated ₹7.9 crore nett after two days.

Directed by Nikhil Advani, Vedaa is inspired by real life and tackles caste discrimination. It stars Sharvari Wagh in the title role, while John Abraham is cast as her mentor and ex-major of the Army, Abhimanyu Kanwar.
