In recognition of her work in the film Mrs., actress Sanya Malhotra was recently honored with the title of Best Actress at the New York Indian Film Festival (NYIFF). This new achievement has left her feeling “grateful” and she is really happy about it.
Due to the fact that I had just woken up, I continued to sleep through the message that was sent to me by my producer and director. I made it through it without any problems. It was a lovely start to the morning for everyone involved. When asked about how quickly he notified his family and crew about the news at seven in the morning, the actor delivers a funny remark from his perspective.
“It hasn’t released in India yet, and now, I am confident that things are looking good for its release in our country,” Malhotra says. She goes on to note that she was “just so excited and happy for the film” for having been recognized at an international stage to begin with.
A further statement made by Malhotra was that she expressed her happiness that the movie has been recognized.
Malhotra plays the role of a married woman who is a simple person who is figuring out who she is while working in the kitchen in the Hindi version of the highly famous Malayalam film The Great Indian Kitchen. Mrs. is a Hindi adaptation of the film. “I am filled with a sense of thanks and admiration whenever I think of the character that I actually played. I have a really particular place in my heart for whatever it is.
It was the tale that sparked my enthusiasm for the subject. As I was working for this particular opportunity, I had the chance to experience one of my favorite things to do, which is to play individuals on television who have no limits. I was able to see that without any limitations. I was absolutely living the life of my character and experiencing what she was going through,” the 32-year-old explains. “I was feeling what she was going through.” “I was truly living the life of my character.”

When asked if there is a connection between obtaining international honors and receiving more and more diverse work in India, the actor said that it does not make much of a difference for an actor to bag varied roles given what they are already earning. This was in response to the question of whether or not there is a correlation between the two.
On the other hand, these endorsements undoubtedly convey a significant deal of information about the film. Due to the fact that it is predicted that it would be published in India in the not too distant future, this serves as both a validation and a confidence boost simultaneously. It is a lovely feeling to earn this honor; nevertheless, at the end of the day, my goal is for the audience to watch the film and enjoy it more than anything else,” she says. “It is my hope that they will appreciate it.”
The trajectory of Malhotra’s career up to this point has been marked by a number of outstanding roles, ranging from the role of a young girl who is an independent person in Badhaai Ho to the role of a policewoman in Kathal. She expresses gratitude that, up to this point in her career, she has never been allowed to be categorized into a single category.
As an actor, I feel myself to be extraordinarily lucky to have been provided a wide variety of roles and opportunities that satisfy my enthusiasm for the profession. I have been offered these opportunities on a constant basis.
I want to take advantage of every opportunity that is out there for me to experience. To the best of my knowledge, I have never given a full-fledged performance of a physical comedy—for example, going all out. Malhotra, who has been trained in both ballet and contemporary dance techniques, has stated that “I also want to do a dance film, which is something I have never done before.” Malhotra has received training in both kinds of dance.
Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is an upcoming film that will feature the actor in a role alongside Varun Dhawan. As far as she is concerned, her journey through the Hindi film industry has been nothing short of “amazing” up here. “It is something that I envisioned myself doing, and we can say without a doubt that it is a work of manifestation.” Being an actor in the profession makes me feel immensely grateful and pleased.

I am thankful for the fact that I am a member of the industry. During the preceding year, spending time with Kathal, Jawan, and Sam Bahadur allowed for an unforgettable experience. It is when she is drawing to a close that she utters the words, “I am simply happy and grateful.”
