This horror-comedy sequel had the highest and widest foreign outing, and will release in numbers exceeding 1,600 screens. Stree 2 will transverse across 75-plus countries and adorn over 1,250 screens. It also features a cameo by Akshay Kumar.
Shraddha Kapoor made history with Stree 2 by pulling off the biggest opening at the Box Office ever as a female lead. With a budget of ₹50 crores, this sequel to the hit 2018 movie Stree hit theaters on Independence Day.

This film, directed by Amar Kaushik, has released on the Box Office and earned ₹46 crore on its release day. The horror-comedy film, which was well-received, has raked in ₹8.35 crores even before its release through its preview shows on Wednesday. So far the film has collected ₹90.3 crore net and ₹72.4 crore gross. At the overseas Box Office, the film did a business of ₹7.6 crore taking the worldwide total to ₹80 crore gross.

According to trade analyst Sumit Kadel,
Stree 2 may earn ₹ 400 crores at the Box Office over a lifetime, and it is possible that it may enter the ₹500 crore club for the currently running pace of progress made during the first two days of its release.
