| Latest News India | Swati Maliwal speaks out about the assault that occurred on May 13, Kejriwal, Bibhav, and the Rajya Sabha seat
In an interview with the news agency ANI, a member of the Rajya Sabha from the Aam Aadmi Party recalled her trauma that occurred on May 13 and stated that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was present when she was assaulted by his assistant Bibhav Kumar. The statement that Kejriwal made on Wednesday, which stated that he was not there at the location where the alleged attack took place, was called into question by this information.
Swati Maliwal gave an interview to ANI in which she discussed the events that transpired at Kejriwal’s apartment on May 13.
Due to the fact that the preceding story was acquired via her FIR against Bibhav, this is the first time that Swati Maliwal has verbally told the occurrence.

I went to Kejriwal’s house on May 13 at approximately nine in the morning. Kejriwal was going to come and visit me in the drawing room, so the staff made me sit there and informed me that he would follow me there…Bibhav had already made his way into the room at that point. I informed him that Arvind ji was going to come meet me, so what exactly is the problem? I made this statement, and he immediately began pounding me…It was seventy-eight times that he slapped me. My attempt to push him resulted in him grabbing my legs and pulling me down to the ground at the same time. The base of my head slammed onto the center table. Immediately after I had fallen to the ground, he began kicking me. The statement was made by Swati Maliwal. “I screamed for help, but nobody came.”
There was no one who came out to assist me, which is very weird. Swati Maliwal continued by saying, “I was screaming.”
“It is a matter of investigation whether he acted on his own or whether he was instructed to do so,” Swati Maliwal said in response to a question about whether or not Bibhav was given the instruction to beat her up. During this investigation, I am providing my cooperation.
At this point, I am not going to give anyone a clean chit. “As a matter of fact, Arvind Kejriwal was present when I was being assaulted,” the Member of Parliament continued.
On the question of whether or not she was asked to relinquish her seat in the Rajya Sabha for any attorney, Swati Maliwal
Maliwal responded to an inquiry about whether or not her dispute with the AAP was caused by any request from the party to be removed from her Rajya Sabha seat in order to make room for a special advocate by saying, “If I had been asked politely, I would have given my life.” The MP seat is a fairly insignificant affair. If you look at my entire career, you will notice that I have never been waning after any of the posts I have made. In 2006, I became a member of Kejriwal after quitting my engineering career. I took a job that was on the ground floor.”
When there is no post, I am able to work. However, now that I have been subjected to such a savage beating, I have decided that I would never give up my seat in the Rajya Sabha. My age makes me the youngest female member of parliament. Maliwal declared, “I will put in a lot of effort and strive to become the perfect member of parliament.”
“I have known Bibhav since 2006, and he is not your typical personal assistant.”
For Bibhav Kumar, Swati Maliwal stated that he was not your typical personal assistant. Since 2006, I have known him. In time, he developed a very close relationship with Kejriwal. If you look at his home, you will notice that even ministers do not have homes as luxurious as his. According to Swati, who also mentioned that there have been assault complaints filed against Bibhav in the past, “He is so powerful that it is believed that if you ruffle his feathers, then you are finished.”
