‘Incredibly honoured’: PM Modi gets rousing welcome from Indian community in UAE

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with members of the Indian community in Abu Dhabi. This meeting took place in advance of the huge cultural event known as “Ahlan Modi,” at which he will deliver a speech.

During the course of his social media posts, he shared photographs from his meeting and expressed his feelings of being “incredibly honoured by the warm welcome from the Indian Community in Abu Dhabi.”

During his visit to the United Arab Emirates, which will last for two days, Modi will be inaugurating Abu Dhabi’s first Hindu temple. He arrived in the UAE today. Immediately after his arrival, he stated that being in the United Arab Emirates made him “feel at home.”

The Prime Minister will be making his sixth journey to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) since he took office in 2014, and this will be his second trip to Qatar.

Before leaving for the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a statement in which he expressed his excitement about the prospect of further strengthening India’s comprehensive strategic partnership with the UAE.
