'Kalki 2898 AD', starring Prabhas, has crossed Rs 500 crore at the global box office.

New Delhi: The makers of the 3D science fiction spectacular Kalki 2898 AD, which was directed by Nag Ashwin, announced on Monday that the film’s debut weekend at the box office brought in a total of Rs 555 crore globally.

The multilingual film, which is said to have been mounted on a budget of Rs 600 crore, contains a star-studded ensemble that includes Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan.

Vyjayanthi Movies is the production company behind Kalki 2898 AD, which was formerly known as Project K. She is meant to become the tenth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, who will liberate the people from injustice.
